Tikehau Capital is seeking a highly analytical ESG intern to join its growing ESG team in Paris. You will support the team across reporting, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and due diligence, collaborating with portfolio managers and ESG experts on varied projects.

Ideal candidates are penultimate or final-year students from top business or engineering schools, with strong academics, fluent in English and French, and proficient in MS Office. French language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year student with strong academic credentials.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills with attention to detail.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel and PowerPoint) required.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages a plus.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting standards (SFDR/CSRD, GRI/SASB/TCFD) is a plus.

At Tikehau Capital, ESG is an essential element in the decision-making process, embedded in the fundamental analysis of our investment teams. It is also a progressive approach, and we need to add more strength to the ESG team. This position is an opportunity to be part of a growing alternative asset manager and work with portfolio managers and experience ESG experts on diverse projects:.

The candidate will support the ESG team in its primary tasks, including but not limited to:

• 2027 ESG Reporting Campaign: Participate in the preparation and project management of the 2027 ESG reporting campaign for Private Debt and Private Equity.


• Sustainable Regulatory Requirements: Oversee and coordinate annual ESG and impact reports including regulatory topics (SFDR periodic reports, quarterly and annual dedicated reports…)


• ESG Process: Participation in the team's efforts and contribution to strengthening the department: improving tools, implementing effective processes, proposing training initiatives, and enhancing the team's research capabilities by contributing expertise and content on specific sectors and/or themes.


• ESG Analysis: Contribute to the analysis of ESG performance, including ESG scoring, monitoring of SRI criteria, benchmarking, and tracking decarbonization targets.


• Due Diligence: Help the team complete due diligence questionnaires to assess ESG factors across investment opportunities.


• Presentation and Material Preparation: Assist in the creation of presentations, as well as legal and marketing materials related to ESG initiatives.

Group-Level Responsibilities:

• Group Reporting: Support the ESG team in group-wide reporting initiatives, contributing to the overall development and communication of ESG efforts at the firm.

• Exigences Réglementaires Durables : Aide à l'analyse ESG (notation ESG, suivi des critères ISR, comparaison, suivi des objectifs de décarbonation, etc.).


• Processus ESG : Participation aux efforts de l'équipe et contribution au renforcement du département : Amélioration des outils, mise en œuvre des processus efficaces, propositions d’initiatives de formation, et renforcement des capacités de recherche de l'équipe en contribuant au savoir-faire et au contenu sur des secteurs et/ou des thèmes spécifiques.


• Analyse ESG : Assistance à la complétion des questionnaires de due diligence.


• Diligence Raisonnée : Aide à la préparation et la production de présentations, de documents légaux et marketing.


• Préparation de Présentations et de Supports : Participation aux efforts d'engagement avec l'équipe de recherche pour les entreprises prioritaires du portefeuille sur les sujets d'impact, ESG et controverses.

Responsabilités au niveau du groupe :

• Reporting de groupe : Soutenir l'équipe ESG dans les initiatives de reporting à l'échelle du groupe, en contribuant au développement global et à la communication des efforts ESG au sein de l'entreprise.
