Allianz Trade, headquartered in Paris, seeks an intern to support the SRU within the Group Credit Underwriting function. You will help design monitoring tools, source data, assemble requirements, and assist with testing, training, and reporting in an international English-speaking team.

The role requires pursuing a Master’s degree (Master 2 / Bac+5) in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields, strong technical literacy (Excel, Python, Power BI), and familiarity with APIs and data

• Strong technical knowledge in data treatment and data/process tool building.
• Familiarity with APIs and data integration processes is a plus.
• Interest in financial topics and processes.
• Curiosity about market data platforms (e.g., Refinitiv, Bloomberg) and AI topics.
• High level Excel and database tools skills.
• Working knowledge of Python, Power BI, and similar tools.
• International mindset.
• Autonomy, self-initiation and innovation orientation.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Support the SRU team in sourcing new data and testing applicability and integration into processes.

About the Role:

The role would be to support the steering and day-to-day management of the SRU (Sentive Risk Management Unit) related activities as part of the Group Credit Underwriting team. This role would be mainly related to supporting the Group Head of SRU for the tasks related to SRU specific monitoring tools design, analyzing the needs and finalizing the requirements, participating in internal and external data sourcing/data administration activities to satisy the business need, testing, process integration, training support and SRU reporting activites.

Key Responsibilities:

SRU is evolving as a new sub-function under The Group Credit Underwriting function to better mitigate severity risks in line with a clear roll-out plan. Sourcing the best information and equipping the global SRU network with custom monitoring and portfolio steering tools is one of the main pillars of the defined roadmap. Integration of any SRU related specific improvements and new tools to our processes also require training and cascading down of the competencies to the network in Region/BU levels.

In this context, the intern would support the team on:

• Scouting and sourcing new data sources internally and externally, testing the applicability, selection of the best options, managing the integration to our processes
• Design of the new monitoring and portfolio management tools in line with the requirements of the network
• Training processes
• Reporting and other relevant tasks

All work and tasks will be conducted in English and within an international team.

Profile/ Skills Required:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree (Master 2 / Bac+5) in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical (i.e. data treatment and data/process tool building) knowledge
• Familiarity with APIs and data integration processes would be a plus.
• Interest into financial topics and processes
• Ideally curiosity and interest in market data platforms: eg. Refinitiv, Bloomberg and interest in AI topics, Gen AI.
• High level of Excel and other database tools, skills
• Working knowledge of Python, Power-BI and similar tools (for problem solving)
• International Mindset
• Autonomy and self-initiation, innovation orientation
• Fluent in English
