Spore.Bio in Paris is seeking a talented intern to contribute to the development of our photonics and bioimaging platform. You will work on Raman and multispectral microscopy systems, and collaborate with our R&D team to explore new approaches.
Ideal candidates are final-year Master students in Photonics or biophotonics, with hands-on optical bench prototyping, and good English (B1). This six-month program offers exposure to cutting-edge microbiology tech and real impact on antimicrobial
Spore.Bio is a deeptech startup born in 2023, building a new paradigm in quality control systems for Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutical factories. After spending a lot of time in factory environments, we saw the pain it was to make sure products were safe. Traditional quality control has heavy constraints and long waiting times. To change that, we decided to build Spore.Bio, a new generation of microbiological testing. Our team is dedicated to developing a cutting-edge solution, based on advanced photonic and deep-learning technologies, to detect bacterial contamination within minutes.
Spore.labs is a new department at Spore.Bio dedicated to a fundamental mission: Revolutionize the fast antibiotics resistance diagnostic. One tool: a fancy multimodal photonics Point-of-Care!
We are seeking a talented and passionate intern to contribute to the development of our new approach.
Join our dynamic team of R&D experts and product managers, and play a crucial role in building the future of clinical microbiology.
Operating on already existing photonics systems, Raman and Multispectral microscopy systems
Conduct comprehensive bibliographic research about new innovative approach that are relevant for the project and propose a new angle to tackle our challenges.
Proposing experimentsand optimize signal quality and imaging system performance that will skyrocket our mission.
