Job summary

Hager, based in Obernai, France, invites applications for a 6-month International Buyer Intern starting January 2027. You will help build a CAPEX supplier panel for European production sites and support the Machines, Tools & Molds sourcing strategy in an international setting.

You will develop supplier networks, assist with strategic projects, and contribute to negotiations while mentoring under CAPEX Category Sourcing Manager.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Master’s Degree in business school.
• Proficient in SAP; MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and interested in Power BI and AI applications.
• Proficient in French & English in a professional environment; German a plus.
• Able to work in an international, multicultural setting with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen the supplier network and support supplier panel management across Europe.
• Support strategic industrial projects with technical teams.
• Contribute to sourcing and negotiation activities while gaining exposure to supplier management.
• Contribute to the digital tool improvement (Power BI / Power Apps) for CAPEX sourcing.
