The CMA CGM Group in Marseille invites a Bachelor’s or Master’s student to join the Intern Data Reliability - Off-Manifest Rebates Department. You will analyze reports, design dashboards, ensure data quality, and develop an automation tool to control and validate customer data.

Working under the Department Manager, you will build an alert system, document processes, and train the team to adopt new tools, contributing to faster and more reliable operational insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's+4 or Master’s student from a Data/Business school, Engineering school, or Master’s in MIS/MIAGE, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Data Analysis.
• Analytical mindset and rigor: study complex situations, propose solutions, and guarantee data accuracy.
• Passion for innovation: enjoy exploring modern tools to automate and optimize tasks.
• Technical skills: advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Access (Power Query, pivot tables), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and automation tools.
• Collaboration and autonomy: work with a team, interact with other departments, and take initiative to improve processes.
• Differentiating strength: prior experience in data analysis, automation or process improvement.

Responsabilités

• BI diagnostic: analyze current reports to identify areas for improvement (clarity, KPI relevance, automation).
• Dynamic dashboards: design and develop dashboards to support decision-making for the team and management.
• Data quality: ensure reliability and timely update of data feeding reports.
• Customer data control: study the process for loading lists and rebate requests, design automation to control and validate data.
• Alert system: build a mechanism to detect errors or inconsistencies before validation.
• Documentation and training: write simple docs and train the team on new tools.

YOURROLE

Reporting directly to the Department Manager (« Off-Manifest Rebates) , you will put your expertise to work leveraging data to optimize operational steering and streamline exchanges with customers.

Asan intern, you bring an analytical mindset toidentifyoptimization opportunities, curiosity to propose innovative solutions, and rigor to guarantee data quality. Your fresh perspective will actively help modernize the department's working methods.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

BI diagnostic:you analyze the department's current reports and dashboards toidentifyareas for improvement (clarity, KPI relevance, automation).

Dynamic dashboards:you design and develop dashboards that support decision-making for the team and management.

Data quality:youensure the reliability,timelyupdate and quality of the data feeding these reports.

Customer data control:you study the current process for receiving and processing customer data (loading lists, rebate requests) and design an automation tool to instantly control, cross-check andvalidateit.

Alert system:you build a mechanism to quickly detect errors or inconsistencies before validation.

Documentation and training:you write simple documentation and train the team on how to use the new tool.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education:Bachelor's+4 orMaster'sstudent from a Data/Business school (Albert School, ESC…) , an Engineering school, or aMaster's in Management Information Systems/MIAGE, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Data Analysis.
