Job summary

Siemens Industry Software SAS is offering a 6-month Strategic Student Program internship in Meylan starting January 2027. You will join the R&D team to enhance electric machine optimization tools, extending capabilities across electromagnetics, mechanics, and thermal analysis, including AI-based approaches and software automation.

The role involves building examples, developing workflows, and testing the new software in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing engineering studies (BAC+5) in France with focus on mechanics, EM, ML, FEA or electrical machine design.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Fluent in French and English for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Transfer existing Multiphysics analysis solutions into a new framework.
• Ensure connectivity between new solutions and our optimization software via workflows.
• Explore AI-based prediction of physical fields as alternatives to conventional FEA.
• Create presentations, documentation and demo models to showcase work.
• Participate in manual and automated testing of the new software solution.
