We are now seeking an Interim Legal Counsel to cover maternity leave and act as a trusted partner to our leadership and teams. This isn’t just about managing legal risk — it’s about enabling the business to move quickly, confidently, and compliantly while supporting colleagues across different time zones and helping shape decisions.

The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for legal matters across the group and will work closely with leadership, HR, Sales, and other teams. The role is broad, interesting, and hands-on, spanning :

  • Business Partnering: Working hand-in-hand with colleagues in Sales, HR, Operations, and beyond to provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal guidance.
  • Deal Support: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring contracts are both robust and business-friendly.
  • Data & Privacy Compliance: Helping teams navigate data protection requirements and embedding best practices into day-to-day operations.
  • Governance & Compliance: Supporting board and corporate governance matters across multiple jurisdictions, keeping processes simple, clear, and effective.
  • People & HR: Advising on day-to-day employment-related queries in coordination with HR, helping maintain positive, compliant employee practices.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced legal counsel with a track record in commercial / corporate matters, ideally in an in-house or international environment.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Pragmatic, collaborative, and focused on solutions — you enjoy being embedded in the business rather than working at a distance.
  • Confident in balancing legal rigor with commercial practicalities.
  • Adaptable and comfortable juggling a varied workload in a complex, multicultural environment.
