Job summary

Socomec in France is seeking an experienced Innovation Project Leader to drive end-to-end initiatives from ideation to POC deployment. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, marketing, and operations to turn concepts into tangible prototypes.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners within a co-development framework, you will monitor costs, deadlines, and performance, while helping evolve innovation processes and contribute to standard-setting bodies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of experience leading technical innovation or cross-functional projects, ideally in the data center industry.
• Strong skills in strategic marketing and a solid understanding of technological challenges and trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovation projects from start to finish, from ideation through the completion of proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project progress and success.
• Design and develop prototypes in collaboration with technical teams and business lines.
• Identify, select, and manage external partners within a co-development framework.
• Ensure reporting and monitoring of objectives regarding costs, deadlines, and performance.
• Contribute to the evolution of innovation processes and participate in standard-setting bodies.
