Job summary

Median Technologies is seeking a Software Tester with strong experience in medical device software and test automation to design and execute verification activities, develop automated test suites, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will work with automated test frameworks (Python, PyTest, Robot Framework) and CI/CD, performing functional and regression testing, and contributing to risk analysis and audits in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in automated software testing, ideally in medical devices or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with medical imaging is a plus.
• Experience with test automation in Python environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (Python, PyTest, Robot Framework, CI/CD)
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Plan, design, and execute software verification activities for medical device software (IEC 62304) if needed
• Ensure compliance with MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 14971
• Document test results and contribute to regulatory submissions
• Participate in risk analysis and traceability matrix updates
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and tools

Tasks

• Write test plans, test cases, and verification protocols
• Analyze bugs, perform root-cause analysis, and track corrective actions
• Implement Test automation including the automated pipelines for testing
• Contribute to verification documentation for audits and regulatory bodies
