  • Close interaction with authorities, internal teams, and project stakeholders

Job Description

Reporting to the HSE Manager overseeing two industrial sites (including one SEVESO upper-tier site), the role focuses on contributing to the design, deployment, and monitoring of the Group’s industrial and environmental safety policy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company’s global industrial safety policy, in line with regulations, regulatory changes, industry best practices, and overall risk management objectives
  • Develop, implement, and update safety standards to improve risk control and harmonize practices across sites
  • Support and monitor the deployment of safety policies and standards
  • Conduct audits and control actions with a constructive, objective, and factual approach
  • Monitor major projects, technical studies, and regulatory compliance programs; provide recommendations to meet regulatory authority expectations
  • Participate in root cause analyses following accidents or incidents
  • Ensure continuous technical and regulatory monitoring within the field of industrial safety
  • Contribute to internal training programs and deliver safety-related training sessions
  • Provide technical safety support to the Group’s international subsidiaries

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial environments classified SEVESO
  • Proven exposure to process safety and industrial risk management
  • Experience interacting with regulatory authorities and managing compliance topics

Ideal Profile

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent) with a strong scientific and technical background
  • Specialization in process safety or chemistry preferred
  • QUALI-SIL certification is a plus

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong safety culture and industrial risk management expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of ICPE and SEVESO upper-tier regulations (SGS, POI, PPI, REACH, DDAE, PAC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in risk analysis methodologies:
  • PHA / APR, FMEA / AMDEC, HAZOP, LOPA
  • Knowledge of hazardous phenomena modeling tools
  • Experience in crisis management and emergency response
  • Familiarity with industrial sites handling bulk and packaged flammable substances
  • Knowledge of environmental and water regulations
