You will evaluate emerging technologies, develop innovative manufacturing solutions, and collaborate with international partners across research, product development, and manufacturing to advance textile capabilities for medical devices and therapies.

Qualifications

• Degree in textile, materials, chemical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience with a bachelor's or 2 years with a higher degree in textile manufacturing or related tech.
• Experience with textile manufacturing technologies (weaving, knitting, fibers, polymers).
• Experience developing new manufacturing technologies, processes or materials in R&D or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PDP, design controls and product/process validation in regulated industry.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving in international teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain technical expertise in textile manufacturing technologies (weaving, knitting, braiding, fibers, polymers).
• Translate VOC/VOR/VOB feedback into technology strategies, capability roadmaps and development priorities.
• Identify and advance emerging textile manufacturing technologies via feasibility studies and proof-of-concept activities.
• Lead design of experiments to evaluate new materials, processes, equipment and capabilities.
• Collaborate with R&D, product development, quality, supplier engineering and manufacturing to industrialize next-gen textiles.
