Qualifications

• Expérience professionnelle pertinente en évaluation des coûts et gestion des coûts.
• Expérience antérieure dans le domaine des énergies renouvelables.
• Expérience dans des projets BESS est un atout.
• Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français.

The team youll be joining

You will be part of our fast-growing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) engineering team composed of over 10 colleagues and integrated within the larger Solar & Storage design team of more than 45 experts. Youll work in close collaboration with the BESS commercial and project management teams which include around 15 professionals.

Together we are actively managing a 2.5 GWh portfolio with 600 MWh already installed and 1.9 GWh currently under construction. Our ongoing projects span the UK the Netherlands and France with upcoming deployments planned in Germany and Australia and future developments in Italy the Dominican Republic and the Nordic countries.

Solar & Storage Solutions for Energy Efficiency Equans

What youll be leading

We are looking for a Cost Engineer to join our batteries and storage team.

As a BESS Cost Engineer youll be responsible for preparing the core component of the pricing exercise the Bill of Materials. Youll be analyzing the RFP creating an initial project layout in AutoCAD generating the Bill of Materials from the preliminary design and obtaining quotes from suppliers.

Your main responsibilities :

• Accurate cost assessment : Dive into the technical components electrical equipment and services required for each BESS project considering budget constraints and quality requirements.
• Collaboration : Work closely with technical design engineering bid and procurement teams to identify cost optimization opportunities at every stage of the project from the initial concept to the final implementation.

The profile were looking for

• University degree in electrical engineering.
• Relevant professional experience in cost assessment and cost management.
• Previous experience in the renewable energy field.
• Previous experience in BESS projects is considered an asset.
• Excel & AutoCAD skills are required.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams both internally and externally.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
