Biolevate seeks a hands-on security & platform engineer to secure our AI-enabled healthcare platform. You will strengthen workstations, identities, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, software assets, and engineering processes while automating controls and compliance.

You will also help advance the platform layer, including CI/CD, observability, and deployment practices across SaaS, hybrid, and potential on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in cybersecurity through professional experience, education, internships, certifications, or personal projects
• Solid foundations in Linux, networking, cloud infrastructure, containers, software engineering, or system administration
• Familiarity with core security principles such as least privilege, defence in depth, vulnerability management, encryption, and secrets management
• Comfort with hands-on coding, automation, investigation, and troubleshooting
• Interest in Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in English; other languages are a plus
• Demonstrates curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to grow across security and platform engineering

Security will be central to your role. You will strengthen the protection of our workstations, identities, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, software assets, and engineering processes. You will also help turn security and compliance requirements into practical controls that can be maintained and automated.

Alongside these responsibilities, you will contribute to the platform layer supporting our product teams and customer deployments. This includes improving our cloud and Kubernetes foundations, CI/CD pipelines, observability, automation, and deployment practices.

This role is particularly relevant for someone who enjoys working across cybersecurity, infrastructure, software, and compliance, while remaining directly involved in hands‑on engineering.

• You will work with the Infrastructure, Engineering, AI, Product, and Operations teams to identify security risks and implement pragmatic solutions across our internal and customer‑facing environments.
• You will contribute to the protection of our employees, cloud resources, applications, and software delivery lifecycle, while supporting security audits and certification programmes.
• You will also take part in the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our platform, helping ensure that it remains secure, reliable, scalable, and adapted to SaaS, hybrid, and potentially on‑premise deployments.

• Have a strong and demonstrable interest in cybersecurity through professional experience, education, internships, certifications, personal projects, home labs, CTFs, or open-source contributions
• Have good technical foundations in Linux, networking, cloud infrastructure, containers, software engineering, or system administration
• Understand core security principles such as least privilege, defence in depth, vulnerability management, encryption, and secrets management
• Are comfortable working hands‑on with code, automation, technical investigation, and troubleshooting
• Have experience with, or an interest in, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering
• Are comfortable with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Go, Java, Ruby, Python, or Bash
• Have some familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, SaaS environments, or Infrastructure as Code
• Can communicate clearly and work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Have professional proficiency in English; other languages are considered an asset
• Demonstrate curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to grow across both security and platform engineering

Previous professional experience is highly valued but not mandatory. Junior candidates are welcome when they can demonstrate meaningful knowledge, practical experimentation, or personal investment in cybersecurity.
