The Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble invites applications for a Senior Industrial Liaison professional to bridge industry with neutron science and ILL’s cutting-edge facilities. You will organise proprietary R&D and non-destructive testing with industry clients, build expertise in neutron techniques, and help expand ILL’s industrial R&D and NDT activities while managing contracts and partnerships.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering or natural science with several years of analytical techniques experience.
• Excellent communication skills and interest in applied research with industry/NDT.
• Strong project management culture for coordinating industry collaborations.

Responsabilités

• Organise and perform proprietary R&D and NDT with industry clients.
• Build expertise in neutron techniques and instruments for industrial R&D and NDT.
• Develop a strategy to increase industrial R&D and NDT activity at ILL.
• Liaise with partners to nurture industry services at large-scale facilities.
• Organise contractual agreements for proprietary beam time with legal support.
• Identify and pursue project opportunities with Grants Office and scientists.
