A leading aerospace corporation in Blagnac is seeking an Industrial Carbon Footprint Manager to manage and establish a decarbonisation roadmap across its European sites. Key responsibilities include contributing to energy sustainability strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, and evaluating sustainability projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in energy/sustainability and project management, with excellent English skills. A vacancy for an “Industrial Carbon Footprint Manager (M/F)” has arisen within Airbus Facility Management Real Estate (FMRE) in Toulouse, France. You would join the FMRE Sustainability Center of Excellence as described below.

Airbus has received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its greenhouse gas emission reduction targets between now and the next 5-10 years. These targets are based on climate science and cover the full set of its emissions: Scope 1, 2 and 3. In response to this new challenge, the FMRE organisation is establishing a Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on ensuring these targets are met across all major global facilities (FMRE scope, China, US/Canada, Aerostructures, Atlantic etc.). The CoE is comprised of sustainability specialists, focused on the global view of Decarbonisation (with a focus on Scope 1 & 2 for industrial, office and infrastructure perimeter), Water, Waste & Green Building/Infrastructure improvements.
