Job summary

Celeres is seeking a technical assistant to provide end-customer support for the CNES SDO/PIO service, helping digitalize industrial processes at the European spaceport in French Guiana.

You will participate in software configuration development, manage configuration changes, maintain systems, and support projects while delivering training on relevant areas of responsibility across the site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing support to projects that have an impact on the systems within the activity perimeter.
• Delivering technical training to members of the SDO/PIO service in the relevant areas of responsibility.
• Carrying out minor modifications to supervision workstations.

The role:

The selected candidate will provide technical assistance in end-customer support for CNES (SDO/PIO service), contributing to the digitalization and modernization of the industrial infrastructure processes of the European spaceport in French Guiana.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the development of the software configuration for the infrastructure service.


• Maintaining configuration management when changes impacting the software configuration are implemented.


• Maintaining systems within the scope of responsibility in operational condition and ensuring their proper operation.


• Maintaining and updating the exchange table for the systems within the activity perimeter.


• Commissioning connection cabinets for the systems within the activity perimeter.


• Providing support to projects that have an impact on the systems within the activity perimeter.


• Delivering technical training to members of the SDO/PIO service in the relevant areas of responsibility.


• Carrying out minor modifications to supervision workstations.

The systems covered by the PIO activity consist of automation equipment, network devices, supervision systems, and industrial communication protocols.

The scope of the SDO/PIO service activities includes all facilities and buildings under the responsibility of CNES at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), particularly those belonging to the SDO/PIO service, which are distributed across the entire spaceport site.
