MaiaSpace in La Défense, Paris area, is seeking a Control Command Hardware Engineer to design and validate industrial hardware architectures for EGSE systems. You will work on electrical cabinets, PLC networks and field equipment integration in a fast-paced avionics environment.

The role requires hands-on hardware integration, testing and troubleshooting, with travel to French Guiana anticipated. Strong Siemens TIA Portal experience and safety-focused PLC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
2 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Siemens automation environments, especially TIA Portal.
Knowledge of SIL-oriented architectures and safety-related PLCs.

Responsabilités

Design and integration of Control Command hardware architectures, electrical cabinets and industrial networks.
Integration of Siemens PLC environments, Remote I/O systems and field equipment.
Development and validation of redundant and safety-oriented PLC architectures.
Define electrical schematics, wiring plans and hardware interfaces.
Integrate industrial communication protocols and field buses (OPC UA, Profinet, Profisafe, Modbus).
Hardware integration, commissioning, testing, validation and troubleshooting.
Calibration, metrology and validation of sensors, actuators and command organs.
Assess power budgets and electrical consumption; consider thermal, vibration and ATEX constraints.
Work on HWIL, Iron Bird and launch facility validation activities.
Travel to French Guiana as part of job requirements.
