Job summary

Harmattan AI is expanding its logistics team in France, seeking a senior Logistics Officer to own inbound and outbound freight, customs, and dangerous goods handling across Wissous and Paris offices. The role demands autonomy, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage ITAR, EAR, and EU dual-use requirements without supervision.

You will coordinate with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to align logistics with operational needs while maintaining compliance and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight, logistics, or supply chain in a regulated industry.
• Ability to operate inbound/outbound logistics independently with sound daily decisions on customs, DG, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of HS/CN codes, import/export declarations, incoterms, and freight procedures across Europe, US, Middle East.
• Experience with ITAR, EAR, and EU/French dual-use export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound freight flows for both sites: booking, tracking, customs clearance, and goods receipt.
• Manage outbound shipments to customers, integrators, programme offices, demos, and trade events from booking to delivery proof.
• Classify and document dangerous goods shipments under ADR, IATA DGR, and IMDG.
• Apply HS/CN tariff codes, incoterms, and customs regimes to ensure accurate declarations.
• Coordinate goods flows between Wissous and Paris, ensure stock transfers and storage standards.
