Back Market is seeking a Sustainability & Public Affairs intern to support B Corp recertification, supplier conduct, and circular economy policy work. You will split focus 50/50 between Sustainability and Public Affairs, gaining exposure to both internal practices and external policy advocacy.

You will work on documentation, databases, questionnaires, and roll-out plans, while engaging with stakeholders across France and EU institutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainability or related field.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, research and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets for data management.
• Nice to have: knowledge of B Corp or EU policy processes.

Responsabilités

• Support B Corp recertification by compiling docs and benchmarking.
• Develop sustainability databases and questionnaires; prepare roll-out plans.
• Drive engagement through sustainability events and communications materials.
• Contribute to ESG reporting and stakeholder mapping for internal use.
• Analyze legal drafts and EU policy related to circular economy.
