Job summary

SFBI is seeking a Master 2 student for a six-month internship at the i3 laboratory, Sorbonne Université/Inserm, on the Pitié-Salpêtrière campus in Paris. You will investigate how immune-cell populations relate to depressive symptoms, fatigue and quality of life in Behçet disease, using deep immune profiling and multi-omics integration.

Under supervision of Dr Nicolas Tchitchek, you will apply flow-cytometry data analyses, regression and interpretable machine learning to identify candidate immune

Qualifications

• Master 2 student or final-year engineering student.
• Interest in immune-cell populations and data analysis.
• Willing to learn statistical and computational approaches; basic Python/R experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assemble an analysis matrix linking clinical scores to biological measurements.
• Perform descriptive statistics, PCA and clustering to identify variation and subgroups.
• Compare parsimonious models and cross-validate analyses; document results in R or Python.
