Job summary

Kleinfelder in Hamilton, NJ is seeking an Environmental Remediation Scientist/Geologist to evaluate data, write technical reports, perform field activities, and support remediation projects for major clients.

The role requires a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification, 4–8 years of environmental experience, and a willingness to work on-site at least two days per week in a hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or related discipline.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• QA/QC experience and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee field activities related to soil and groundwater remedial investigations.
• Prepare technical documents including reports and site evaluation documents.
• Prepare regulatory reports such as Site Investigation Reports and Remedial Action Reports.
• Analyze and enter environmental data.
• Communicate with staff, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure quality execution of tasks and manage samples and equipment.
• Manage subcontractors performing environmental sampling and construction activities.
• Contribute to Kleinfelder’s safety culture.
