Scaleway is seeking a Security Engineer to join its Security Engineering team in a collaborative, international environment. You will develop custom tools for the SOC, CSIRT, and Trust & Safety teams to enhance threat detection and incident response across Scalesystems.

The role involves building automation, working with infrastructure teams, and ensuring compliance with SecNumCloud standards while contributing to scalable security operations and Tooling excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and tool creation.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity concepts and SOC/CSIRT operations.
• Proven ability to work with infrastructure or production teams.
• Ability to build clean, maintainable automation code.
• Familiarity with regulated/highly secure cloud compliance frameworks (SecNumCloud) is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain automated tools for the SOC, CSIRT, and Trust & Safety teams.
• Equip field security teams with robust, tailor-made technical solutions.
• Adapt internal security tools to support evolving corporate security requirements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams across Scaleway.
• Support operations within a SecNumCloud-compliant environment.
• Continuously optimize scripts and workflows for threat detection and remediation.
