Job summary

d2m Services in Six-Fours-les-Plages, via its affiliate d2m Engineering, is recruiting a Hull Structure Lead Engineer / Project Manager to deliver hull structural design and calculations for complex marine projects.

You will lead a team of engineers and draftsmen, organize schedules, ensure technical quality, and coordinate with Clients, Class societies and partners. Fluent English is required for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years as a structural engineer.
• At least 5 years in lead or management roles.
• Solid knowledge of offshore structures and naval architecture.
• Experience with FEMAP and Class software.

Responsibilities

• Lead hull structure design and calculations in accordance with Class Rules and client specs.
• Supervise up to 10 engineers/draftsmen on hull construction drawings and structural calculations.
• Organize schedule and workload for efficient project execution.
• Monitor progress and define priorities; train junior engineers.
• Coordinate interfaces with clients, Class societies and partners.
• Support recruitment and selection of engineering partners.
