FedEx Express FR invites you to join our hub maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, electrical and mechanical systems, and site equipment, ensuring safety and compliance across operations.

You will diagnose faults, plan activities, coordinate with vendors, and maintain meticulous records while contributing to continuous improvement and reliability across the FedEx Express network.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of facilities maintenance experience

What you will be doing

Carry out day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, electrical and mechanical systems, ground equipment, and other site-specific operational systems. Diagnose faults, identify anomalies, and resolve issues using defined procedures, escalating complex cases when required. Plan and prioritize maintenance activities on a daily/weekly basis, taking into account operational needs, safety requirements, and parts availability. Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed with accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards, safety rules, and applicable legislation. Perform procedural checks and support preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational continuity. Work closely with internal teams and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers, including reviewing documentation and following up on discrepancies or corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives and, at senior level, handle escalated issues, coordinate team or contractor activities, and assist supervisors or managers with process implementation. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities, vendor work, and compliance requirements.

What do you bring with you

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, with exposure to mechanical and electrical systems in an operational environment.
• Solid understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes, with the ability to follow predefined procedures accurately.
• Proven problem-solving skills, capable of identifying anomalies and resolving issues within established parameters, escalating when necessary.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, enabling you to prioritize maintenance activities in line with operational needs and deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when performing repairs, procedural checks, and reviewing documentation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also managing tasks independently.
• Experience working alongside external vendors and suppliers, including basic coordination and documentation follow-up.
• Commitment to health, safety, and compliance.
