ERM is seeking a motivated Health and Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Consultant to join our expanding Paris team. You will work on EHS strategy design, implementation, and audits for clients across sectors with complex regulatory environments.

The role requires substantial experience in HSE and sustainability, a Master’s degree in a related field, and fluent English (C1) with French knowledge a plus. Flexible working arrangements are available in Paris.

Qualifications

• Substantial, relevant experience across HSE and sustainability disciplines as a consultant or in industry.
• Master's degree in environmental/Safety Engineering, Environmental/Natural resources Management or other relevant disciplines.
• Working knowledge of English (C1) is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred French and/or Spanish).
• Good knowledge of French HSE legislation and international HSE & Sustainability Guidelines/Standards (e.g. SDGs, TCFD, ISO 14001, ISO45001, ISO 50001, ISO 26000, SA8000).

Responsabilités

• Support on the design and implementation of corporate Environmental, Health & Safety strategies and programs for HSE and Sustainability including diagnostics, compliance and technical audits, awareness raising, training programs, and hazard and risks identification and assessment.
• Conduct on-site, risk-based assessments to identify critical operational health and safety risks and support clients in implementing practical and effective risk control measures.
• Support on the design and implementation of activities related to H&S Training and field coaching, including competency assessment, training programs for behavioral change, human factor analysis and assessment.
• Support on design and implementation of HSE and Sustainability governance processes aimed to drive Operational performance improvement of Organizations, including deployment of risk and opportunities assessment, development of management systems, planning and delivery of auditing activities, design and delivery of training programs.
• Support on specific sustainability activities (e.g. Low Carbon Economy Transition projects, Carbon neutrality and climate change projects, Life-Cycle Assessments, circular economy, etc.)

And the services provided by the EHS/OP Team include EHS strategy, designing and implementing EHS management systems, compliance management support and delivering audit programmes; and cover the breadth of environmental through to health and safety disciplines.

And we continue to provide subject matter expertise alongside our digital services colleagues – helping our clients get better value from their EHS and operational data to make better more informed decisions.
