HR Director – France

Our client is a leading, high growth, PE backed, European IT services business. Having scaled significantly, they are now seeking an HR Director to lead the French HR function.

This role reports directly to the Group CHRO and will involve working closely with senior European leaders to deliver a scalable, high-performance people & talent agenda within the French business.

Role Overview
  • Partner at the Top – Work hand-in-hand with Group CHRO, providing strategic insight, challenge, and solutions.
  • Collaborate Across Europe – Ensure French HR practices integrate seamlessly with pan-European initiatives.
  • Leverage HR Systems – Use your Workday expertise to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and analytics-driven decisions.
  • Ensure Compliant – Manage all aspects of French labour law, employee representative bodies, and collective processes.
  • Optimise Operations – Improve existing HR processes and introduce scalable, efficient policies.
  • Support Sales Teams – Partner with sales leadership on bonus schemes and compensation structures.
  • Drive Culture & Engagement – Build an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports retention and growth.
  • Champion HR – Setting the standard for HR best practice in France.
Experience required
  • Extensive HR leadership experience in France (Director level or senior HRBP).
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of French labour law and HR compliance.
  • Skilled in Workday with hands-on operational expertise.
  • Experience in tech-enabled businesses, ideally in high-growth or transformation.
  • Exposure to Private Equity-backed environments is a strong plus.
  • Commercial mindset with a balance of strategic and operational impact.
  • Business language is English
