A market-leading company in the Environmental Services sector (Urban Services & Recycling) is seeking an experienced HR Directo r to lead the comprehensive Human Resources function within its organisation.

This role requires a senior HR professional with strong expertise in Labour Relations and Union Negotiation, capable of balancing strategic vision with operational leadership. The position plays a key role in driving a people-oriented culture while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and constructive dialogue with employee representatives. Fluent english is a main requiered for the position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the dialogue with trade unions and employee representatives.
  • Coordinate collective bargaining processes, both at site and sectoral levels.
  • Manage labour conflicts, disciplinary proceedings, and sanctioning procedures.
  • Represent the company in labour courts and before the Labour Inspectorate.
  • Ensure compliance with current labour regulations and applicable collective agreements.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes to meet operational and strategic needs.
  • Collaborate with external providers and recruitment platforms.
  • Promote the employer brand within the assigned territory.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate the annual training plan.
  • Promote professional development and internal mobility.
  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal programmes and career plans.
  • Participate in organisational transformation and change management projects.
  • Design and implement actions related to workplace well-being, work-life balance, and internal social responsibility.
  • Collaborate with social organisations and promote the inclusion of vulnerable groups.
  • Advise management and line managers on people management matters.
  • Prepare reports and key indicators (KPIs) related to workforce, turnover, and work climate.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of policies and procedures.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
  • Fluent in English (C1 level)
  • University degree in Labour Relations, Law, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in similar HR roles
  • Experience in industrial or service-oriented environments with high workforce intensity (2000 employees)
  • Strong knowledge of French labour law and proven experience in union relations and negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of multicultural and operational contexts.
  • Experience implementing corporate policies.
  • Experience driving cultural change or integration processes.
  • Strategic mindset with hands‑on experience in HR management.
