Symrise is seeking an HR Communication Designer, Strategy Execution, to translate global HR priorities into compelling communication and visual content. The role collaborates with HR leaders, delivering visual storytelling and AI-enabled content across a matrix global organization.

Primary location is Clichy, France, with alternative sites in Barcelona, Holzminden, Marlow, and Vienna. You will shape narratives, templates, and formats to drive adoption of transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications or related field.
• 3–5 years in internal communications or related fields.
• Proven experience creating high-quality visual and digital communication products.
• Experience using Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs) for communication and content development.
• Strong visual storytelling, copywriting, information design, and audience-centered communication skills.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives or strategic projects in an international environment.
• Strong project management, planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; German and/or French would be an advantage.

Your Role

As an HR Communication Designer, Strategy Execution, you will translate global HR priorities and transformation initiatives into compelling communication, visual content, and engaging community formats that create understanding, participation, and adoption across our global HR organization.

Working closely with HR leaders and project teams, you will bring strategic initiatives to life through visual storytelling, creative communication formats, and AI-enabled content creation. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating, designing, experimenting, and continuously improving how people engage with information and with each other.

Primary location: Clichy, France
Alternative locations: Barcelona (Spain), Holzminden (Germany), Marlow (United Kingdom), Vienna (Austria)

Communication Design & Visual Storytelling

• Design high-quality communication products including presentations, infographics, visual frameworks, process maps, toolkits, and digital assets.
• Transform complex HR topics into clear, visually engaging, and easy-to-understand communication.
• Build compelling narratives and communication concepts that support HR initiatives and transformation programs.
• Develop communication templates, standards, and visual approaches that improve clarity and consistency.

Community Activation & Engagement

• Design innovative participation and dialogue formats that strengthen engagement across the global HR community.
• Create campaigns and communication experiences that encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional exchange.
• Facilitate modern virtual and hybrid engagement formats that increase interaction and community participation.
• Continuously experiment with and improve community engagement approaches.

AI-Enabled Content Creation & Innovation

• Create AI-generated visuals, presentations, videos, communication assets, and storytelling formats.
• Apply Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance content creation, visual storytelling, communication quality, and audience engagement.
• Explore new communication trends, technologies, and creative approaches.
• Rapidly prototype and test new formats, channels, and engagement concepts.

Project Management Support on Strategic HR Projects

• Support global HR transformation initiatives and strategic HR projects.
• Act as Communication Lead for selected projects and manage communication activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate project objectives, milestones, and transformation requirements into concrete communication and engagement activities.
• Develop and manage communication plans and journeys aligned with project milestones.
• Collaborate with project leads, HR leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, communication risks, and potential adoption barriers.
• Manage communication deliverables from concept through final execution.

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Communication Design, Marketing, Journalism, Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, communication design, marketing communications, employer branding, consulting, community engagement, or a comparable environment.
• Proven experience creating high-quality visual and digital communication products, including presentations, infographics, visual frameworks, and communication assets.
• Practical experience using Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs) for communication and content development.
• Strong visual storytelling, copywriting, information design, and audience-centered communication skills.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives or strategic projects in an international environment.
• Strong project management, planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines in a matrix organization.
• Hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset with a strong focus on implementation and adoption.
• Fluent English; German and/or French would be an advantage.
• Experience using modern communication, design, collaboration, community engagement, and AI-enabled content creation tools.
