Inria is seeking a Research Engineer to join their team in Talence. The candidate will focus on software packaging using Guix for high-performance computing projects. An initial contract of 3 years with flexible start dates from October 2026 is offered.

Essential skills include a Master’s degree in computer science and experience with Unix/Linux, programming (C/C++, Python), and build systems. The position provides opportunities for training on cutting-edge technologies and contributions to open-source software.

Qualifications

• Good practice of Unix/Linux and system administration.
• Experience with programming in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with build systems and continuous integration tools.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement packaging and continuous integration strategy.
• Participate in the deployment and testing of infrastructure.
• Provide user support and training related to software packaging.
