Job summary

UF Health Shands is seeking an EVS Manager to lead operational coordination and staff supervision within the department. The role focuses on quality, safety, employee engagement, and service excellence for patients, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities include timekeeping/payroll, recruitment interviews, regulatory compliance, and performance evaluations for direct reports, with budget input and strategic development support for the department.

Qualifications

• AA degree and 3 years of supervisory experience in environmental services, operations, or related field required OR 5 years of supervisory experience in environmental services and/or operations required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting strongly.
• Must have knowledge of health, safety and industry regulatory agencies.
• Prior experience must demonstrate EVS operations leadership and a positive, customer service and employee-oriented attitude.
• Must interface effectively with all members of the health care team to render exceptional service to patients, guests, and others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timekeeping/payroll, recruitment interviews, and employee relations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality in environmental services.
• Provide budgetary input to the Director and assist with program goals and strategic initiatives.
