Socomec Sas seeks a Senior Standardization Leader to define and deploy the Group’s standardization strategy across international lines. You will lead cross-functional coordination with R&D, Marketing, and business units to align standards with strategic goals.

The role requires a strong track record in standardization, deep electrical expertise, and fluent French and English to operate in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in standardization and a strong understanding of international standardization organizations.
• Technical expertise, ideally in electrical installations and switching/protection devices.
• Fluent French and English is essential in this international environment.

Operating in an international environment and working closely with the different Business Lines, standardization is a strategic lever to secure existing markets and support the development of new ones.

Reporting to the Group R&D Director, you will define and deploy the Group’s standardization strategy in line with business and technological challenges.

• Represent and promote the Group within national and international standardization bodies.
• Develop and manage influence networks to help shape standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Coordinate standardization activities with R&D, Marketing, and Business Line teams.

• Monitor regulatory and standardization trends and anticipate their impact on the business.

• Proven experience in standardization and a strong understanding of international standardization organizations.
• Technical expertise, ideally in electrical installations and switching/protection devices.
• Fluent French and English is essential in this international environment.
