Job summary

Socomec, acteur international, recherche un responsable de la standardisation pour définir et déployer la stratégie du groupe en cohérence avec les défis techniques et commerciaux.

Sous la supervision du Directeur R&D Groupe, le candidat définit les priorités, représente l'entreprise auprès des organismes de normalisation internationaux et coordonne les activités avec les équipes R&D, Marketing et Business Lines. Il pilote une équipe dédiée et assure une veille des tendances réglementaires.

Qualifications

• Master en ingénierie (électrique preferred).
• Expérience avérée en standardisation et connaissance des organisations internationales.
• Expertise technique, idéalement en installations électriques et dispositifs de commutation/protection.
• Parlé couramment le français et l’anglais dans cet environnement international.

Responsibilities

• Définir les priorités de standardisation en alignement avec la stratégie globale.
• Représenter et promouvoir le Groupe auprès des organes de standardisation nationaux et internationaux.
• Développer et gérer des réseaux d'influence pour façonner les standards et les cadres réglementaires.
• Coordonner les activités de standardisation avec la R&D, le Marketing et les Business Lines.
• Diriger et développer une équipe dédiée à la standardisation et au lobbying.
• Surveiller les tendances réglementaires et anticiper leur impact sur l’entreprise.

Job description

Operating in an international environment and working closely with the different Business Lines, standardization is a strategic lever to secure existing markets and support the development of new ones.

Reporting to the Group R&D Director, you will define and deploy the Group’s standardization strategy in line with business and technological challenges.

Responsibilities

• Define standardization priorities in alignment with the company’s overall strategy.
• Represent and promote the Group within national and international standardization bodies.
• Develop and manage influence networks to help shape standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Coordinate standardization activities with R&D, Marketing, and Business Line teams.
• Lead and develop a team dedicated to standardization and lobbying activities.
• Monitor regulatory and standardization trends and anticipate their impact on the business.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent), preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in standardization and a strong understanding of international standardization organizations.
• Technical expertise, ideally in electrical installations and switching/protection devices.
• Fluent French and English is essential in this international environment.
