Description du poste

Airbotics Talent are partnered with a well funded European robotics company developing a new generation of advanced autonomous systems.

We are looking for a Head of Production & Supply Chain to build the manufacturing capability required to take complex hardware from early prototypes into repeatable production.

This is a hands on leadership role. You will initially work closely with the hardware, engineering teams and suppliers, while building the production systems and supply chain required for future scale.

The Role

You will take ownership of production and supply chain from the ground up, including:

  • Establishing workshop and production capability
  • Leading assembly, integration, testing and qualification of early systems
  • Taking new hardware through NPI, industrialisation and production ramp
  • Building sourcing strategies and developing a strong European supplier network
  • Identifying, assessing and qualifying suppliers for critical components and manufacturing processes
  • Reducing supply risk through alternative sources, supplier development and appropriate inventory planning
  • Managing supplier performance across quality, cost, lead time and capacity
  • Working with engineering teams on DFM/DFA, component selection and make or buy decisions
  • Managing supply chain considerations around export controls, component authenticity and traceability
  • Establishing appropriate quality, configuration management, logistics and production processes
  • Building and leading the production and supply chain organisation as the company scales

This is a player coach position for someone equally comfortable solving problems on the workshop floor, working directly with suppliers and building the systems required for scale.

The Person

We are looking for someone who has helped turn complex hardware prototypes into real products and understands the supply chain required to manufacture them reliably.

You are likely to have:

  • 7+ years in manufacturing, production or industrialisation of complex hardware
  • Experience taking products through NPI and into production
  • Strong hands on supply chain and sourcing experience
  • Experience building and qualifying supplier networks for complex hardware
  • Experience managing supply risk, critical components and multiple sources of supply
  • Strong DFM/DFA experience working directly with engineering teams
  • A good understanding of quality, configuration management and traceability
  • Familiarity with export controls and regulated hardware supply chains
  • Experience establishing or scaling manufacturing capability rather than only operating mature production environments
  • Experience within aerospace, space, robotics, automotive, motorsport, defence, medical devices or other high reliability hardware environments would be particularly relevant.
Why Join?
  • Build production and supply chain capability from the ground up
  • Take advanced hardware from early builds into scalable production
  • Develop a high quality European supplier ecosystem
  • Remain close to the hardware while operating at leadership level
  • Join a well funded European deep tech company at a formative stage of growth

The position is based in Paris, with regular access required to hardware, production and testing facilities. Relocation support is available.
