A leading reinsurance firm in Paris is seeking a strategic marketing manager responsible for defining and executing the global marketing strategy. You will lead an international team and develop engaging marketing content across various platforms. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance and a degree in marketing or communications.

Description du poste

Main goals are to increase recognition of SCOR’s expertise and differentiation to clients around innovation and sustainable initiatives, working in close collaboration with P&C / L&H top management and underwriting teams to create an engaging client facing marketing strategy.

In parallel, manage a team of marketing experts and work closely with communications team members for a consistent approach throughout the organization.

Key duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for defining the global strategy, for planning and execution of the P&C / L&H marketing plan
  • Structure, manage and drive an international team of marketing experts to execute the marketing plan
  • Develop and maintain on-going collaboration with SCOR business leaders and underwriters in all geographies to develop and execute strategic initiatives that demonstrate SCOR’s value as an innovative partner and solution provider to our clients
  • Define a clear editorial line aligned with the strategy to develop, lead and champion a forward-thinking thought leadership agenda that strengthens SCOR’s position in the market.
  • Create new and innovative opportunities to communicate and educate through leadership content including training programs
  • Work with the rest of the communications team to build content generation in line with the strategy across all forms of media and events – newsletters, podcasts, webcasts, blogs, LinkedIn posts and videos, other social media, conferences and partnerships.
  • Participate in the structuration of a consistent digital environment including marketing automation tool for an efficient multichannel marketing strategy. Drive with analytics and marketing data to adjust the marketing plan.
  • Lead efforts to evolve, elevate and continually build SCOR’s brand, reputation and recognition across the industry. Liaison with the External Communications team (in charge of Corporate content, press relations, social media) for a consistent approach to press and media.
  • Create opportunities across the organization for more frequent idea generation / brainstorming sessions through collaborative communities.Support internal communications.
Required experience & competencies
Experience
  • Preferably insurance / reinsurance experience (in both P&C and L&H businesses) in a responsible management position - 5 years or more
  • Marketing and communications experience

Required Education
  • Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Communications or another subject area deemed relevant is a must.
