MARSO Robotics is seeking a Head of Intelligent Robotics to own the performance of our robots' intelligence in production, spanning perception, autonomy, manipulation, and reliability. You will work with the CTO on architecture, making hard technical calls and driving implementations to production.

This role blends hands-on system design with leadership, growing the team while bridging research, engineering, deployment and field operations to deliver robust, real-world robotics.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in AI, robotics or autonomous systems with exposure to classical robotics and learning-based methods.
• Strong track record deploying AI/robotics systems in production environments.
• Experience owning performance of a fielded system, including feedback loop from field data to engineering.

As Head of Intelligent Robotics, you will own the performance of our robots' intelligence in the field: perception, autonomy, manipulation, robustness and reliability, and the learning loop that keeps improving them over time. You will work closely with the CTO on architecture and technical direction, and you will stay hands-on: designing systems, making the hard technical calls, and driving them through to reliable operation in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end performance of intelligent robotic capabilities in production: perception, autonomy, manipulation, robustness and reliability

• Define and drive the technical architecture, combining classical robotics methods with learning-based approaches

• Stay hands-on across design, implementation and debugging

• Own field interventions: root-cause failures in the field and close the loop from incidents and data back into the systems and algorithms deployed

• Report directly to the CTO and contribute to technical direction and cross-functional engineering decisions

• Grow and structure the team as scope expands, setting a high hiring bar for technical depth combined with hands-on field pragmatism

• Bridge the gap between early-stage experimentation and reliable real-world operation

• Foster close collaboration between AI development, robotics engineering and field operations

Profile

• Significant hands-on experience in AI, robotics or autonomous systems, with real exposure to both classical robotics and learning-based methods

• Strong track record architecting and deploying AI/robotics systems that operate reliably in production

• Experience owning the performance of a fielded system, including the loop from field interventions and data back into engineering improvements

• Proven ability to lead and grow a technical team, while staying personally involved in architecture and hard technical problems

• Comfortable operating across research, engineering, deployment and field operations

• Ability to turn complex technical challenges into deployable, robust solutions

En tant que Head of Intelligent Robotics, vous serez responsable de la performance de l'intelligence de nos robots sur le terrain : perception, autonomie, manipulation, robustesse et fiabilité, ainsi que de la boucle d'apprentissage qui les améliore en continu. Responsabilités

• Être responsable de la performance globale des capacités robotiques intelligentes en production : perception, autonomie, manipulation, robustesse et fiabilité

• Définir et porter l'architecture technique en combinant robotique classique et approches par apprentissage

• Rester opérationnel sur la conception, l'implémentation et le debugging

• Être responsable des interventions terrain : identifier la cause racine des pannes sur le terrain et boucler la remontée des incidents et des données vers les systèmes et algorithmes déployés

• Relever directement du CTO et contribuer aux orientations techniques et aux décisions d'ingénierie transverses

• Faire grandir et structurer l'équipe à mesure que le périmètre s'élargit, en fixant un niveau d'exigence élevé au recrutement, à la fois technique et pragmatique sur le terrain

• Faire le lien entre l'expérimentation en phase amont et un fonctionnement fiable en conditions réelles

• Favoriser une collaboration étroite entre le développement IA, l'ingénierie robotique et les opérations terrain

Profil

• Expérience opérationnelle significative en IA, robotique ou systèmes autonomes avec une pratique réelle à la fois de la robotique classique et des méthodes par apprentissage

• Solide expérience dans la conception et le déploiement de systèmes IA/robotique fonctionnant de façon fiable en production

• Expérience de la responsabilité de la performance d'un système déployé sur le terrain incluant la boucle entre interventions terrain, données et améliorations d'ingénierie

• Capacité à diriger et faire grandir une équipe technique, tout en restant personnellement impliqué sur l'architecture et les problèmes techniques difficiles

• À l'aise pour opérer entre recherche, ingénierie, déploiement et opérations terrain

• Capacité à transformer des défis techniques complexes en solutions déployables et robustes
