Voodoo in Paris is seeking a Head of Data to transform raw data into clear business insights and drive data-driven decisions across product teams. You will lead a team of Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Data Analysts, shaping the data strategy and infrastructure.

You will own complex analyses, enable product teams to navigate Amplitude dashboards, and ship data science projects into production, while staying ahead of AI trends and maintaining a strong bias toward actionable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data (analysis, engineering, or science) across multiple areas.
• Proven track record delivering data-driven insights in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience modeling and analyzing high-volume user data.
• Experience shipping data science projects into production.
• Hands-on with modern AI: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, or AI analytics pipelines.
• Curiosity about AI direction and awareness of new models and tools.
• Experience designing and interpreting complex A/B tests for mobile apps.
• Advanced statistical methods and tooling.
• Ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in French and English.

Role

We are looking for a talented Head of Data, deeply passionate about algorithms, data science, data-engineering and data-driven decisions, transforming raw data into clear actionable business insights, who will play a key role in the development of BeReal.

• Tackle strategic and operational challenges by analyzing large and complex datasets
• Enable product teams to independently navigate Amplitude dashboards and make informed decisions
• Provide actionable recommendations from A/B tests to shape the product roadmap
• Build and scale a robust data infrastructure that addresses both business intelligence and data science needs
• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Data Analysts

Profile

• 8+ years in data (analysis, engineering, or science), ideally with time spent across more than one of them
• Track record of delivering fast in a high-tempo environment, with a bias toward results over process
• Hands-on experience modeling and analyzing high-volume, user-level data
• Proven history of shipping data science projects into production — not just prototypes
• Hands-on experience building with modern AI: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted analytics pipelines
• Genuine curiosity about where AI is heading, and a habit of staying current with new models, tools, and techniques — and a clear point of view on which ones are worth adopting
• Experience designing and interpreting complex A/B tests, ideally for mobile apps
• Advanced command of statistical methods and tooling
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Fluent in French and English
