The Library of Congress is seeking a Supervisory Librarian (Cataloging and Metadata Unit Supervisor) for the Moving Image Section at the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center in Culpeper, VA. The role leads the Cataloging and Metadata Unit, overseeing receipt, organization and creation of catalog records for moving image materials.

The incumbent works with broad guidelines, exercises considerable independent judgment, and reports to the Head of the Moving Image Section.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a cataloging/metadata unit is preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory control for moving image materials.
• Strong independent judgment in adherence to guidelines.
