Loft Orbital is seeking a Harness Design Engineer to develop electrical harnesses connecting spacecraft systems, payloads, and test equipment. You will translate interfaces into production-ready harness designs and create 3D assemblies in Creo, while supporting fabrication, testing, and continuous improvement.
This role encourages early-career engineers with a strong EE foundation to grow expertise in spacecraft harness design, collaborating across electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test
Loft Orbital is redefining how satellites are built and deployed. We provide a fast, simple, and reliable path to orbit by combining standardized space vehicles, mission-specific payload integration, and end-to-end mission execution.
As a Harness Design Engineer, you’ll help design the electrical harnesses that connect spacecraft systems, avionics, payloads, and test equipment. You’ll work across electrical systems, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and integration & test to turn electrical interfaces into reliable, production-ready hardware.
This is a great opportunity for an earlier career candidate with a strong electrical engineering foundation and an interest in developing expertise in spacecraft harness design.
* Research shows that while men apply to jobs where they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other underrepresented people tend to only apply when they meet 100% of the qualifications. At Loft, we value respectful debate and people who aren't afraid to challenge assumptions. We strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't check all the boxes.
