Greenerwave is offering an internship in their hardware team at the Paris office. You will build prototypes, run laboratory tests, and evaluate power supply architectures to improve board reliability.
Reporting to the hardware engineer, you’ll connect electronic design with real-board results and document observations to guide future designs. You will learn to analyze requirements, design experiments, run tests with lab equipment, and translate findings into concrete recommendations while
The reliability of our electronic boards depends on validating design choices. By building prototypes and conducting laboratory tests, you will help the Hardware team evaluate different technical solutions before they are integrated. In particular, you will help reduce the risks associated with the terminal’s power supply architecture to improve its reliability and stability.
Reporting to Nathalie, Hardware Engineer, this internship will allow you to connect electronic design with the results obtained on actual boards. From analysing requirements to carrying out tests, you will learn to evaluate a solution, document your observations and translate them into recommendations for future designs.
Analyse and document electrical and functional requirements,
Identify technical solutions and assess their risks and their impact on the existing design,
Design prototypes to test these solutions: electronic schematics, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and embedded software.
Develop the test environment for electronic boards,
Define test protocols to evaluate the selected solutions,
Carry out tests using laboratory equipment, including an oscilloscope,
Analyse the results to verify the operation and stability of the solutions tested.
Write detailed documentation of test protocols and the results obtained,
Make recommendations to guide design choices and improve board reliability.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is motivated, curious and ready to learn, within a team that will support their skills development.
Your technical skills You are comfortable reading electronic schematics and designing printed circuit boards (PCBs), You understand hardware constraints and have knowledge of low-level development in C/C++, You have an interest in developing monitoring and supervision tools in Python or Rust, Knowledge of Git is a plus, You have a good command of written and spoken English to work in an international environment.
Your approach to work You are thorough in carrying out your work and tracking results, You enjoy working independently on your assignments, You enjoy moving from design to practical implementation to test and validate your ideas, You are committed to seeing your work through to concrete results.
Reasons to work at Greenerwave A financial contribution towards your lunches, Benefits offered by our Social and Economic Committee (CSE), Offices located in the heart of Paris, in the 2nd arrondissement, Monthly team events and evenings out to spend time together outside of project work, Discussions with technical teams to discover the technologies you are working on and better understand their applications, A multicultural environment bringing together people with varied expertise, where you can learn from others, Close guidance and support from your internship supervisor to help you progress throughout your internship and prepare to launch your career.
