Yahoo Mail is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help lead growth and experimentation across desktop, mobile web, iOS, and Android. You will work in a cross-functional squad with user research, content, marketing, and platform teams to ground design decisions in user insight and measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes experimentation, AI-enabled design approaches, and a strong craft bar, with opportunities to influence activation, engagement, and retention across the Mail ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing consumer web/mobile products at scale.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered product thinking and polished visual craft.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered design tools and generative workflows to accelerate exploration and prototyping.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design strategy across high-leverage growth surfaces (onboarding flows, engagement loops, lifecycle nudges, and habit systems) to drive measurable impact on activation and retention.
• Translate growth strategy into clear experience direction by exploring and pressure-testing design solutions in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify opportunities across growth surfaces, iterating on experiments to learn quickly and improve core business metrics.
• Contribute to Yahoo Mail's design system by creating and refining growth-related patterns that support scalable, reusable solutions.
• Mentor other designers and facilitate critiques to resolve ambiguity and align on strategic direction across the business area.
• Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies in the ideation and design-to-engineering workflow, replacing repetitive manual tasks with automated or AI-assisted prototyping cycles.
• Maintain a solutions-oriented mindset, proactively suggesting AI-driven improvements to the team's creative process and experimentation velocity.
