The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the application of cutting edge computational methods to understand the brain mechanisms (at the cellular, circuits and/or behavioral levels) associated with psychiatric disorders. This position requires competence in modeling complex systems and a strong ability to translate these models into biologically relevant hypotheses about the physiological and pathological mechanisms of mental processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement relevant computational models relative to specific behaviors and their dysfunction in psychiatric contexts.

Collaborate with neurobiologists (at the cellular, circuits and/or behavioral levels) to integrate experimental data and enhance the understanding of the biological bases of normal and pathological behaviors.

Required Qualifications:

PhD or equivalent experience in neuroscience, computer science, engineering or a related field.
