You will be particularly involved in the GIMO (Global International Manufacturing Operations) scope, which includes 11 mid‑sized international manufacturing sites. In this capacity, you will serve as a trusted business partner to local teams and senior management, with a strong business‑oriented and cross‑functional dimension.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the collection of financial data from manufacturing sites and ensure its accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.
  • Contribute to corporate closing activities and analyse performance variances.
  • Identify anomalies, improve data reliability, and challenge underlying assumptions.
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and structured reporting, guaranteeing both timeliness and a high standard of information quality.
Business Partner for the GIMO Industrial Perimeter
  • Analyse site performance and identify key improvement levers.
  • Challenge local teams to better understand and improve their results.
  • Proactively recommend optimisation initiatives related to costs, productivity, investments, and operational efficiency.
  • Interact with international stakeholders within a multicultural environment.
  • Play a key role in industrial strategic decision‑making and performance management.
Lead an International Controlling Network
  • Coordinate and support a network of controllers located across multiple sites worldwide.
  • Guide local teams in the preparation and delivery of financial data.
  • Monitor deadlines, track progress, and follow up with sites when necessary.
  • Support the development of local finance teams’ skills and capabilities.
  • Act as a bridge between Group Finance and operational teams.
Enhance Tools and Processes
  • Manage and optimise consolidation files and reporting tools.
  • Participate in automation and process simplification projects.
  • Challenge existing practices and propose more efficient and robust solutions.
Oversee Capital Expenditure (Capex)
  • Lead the Group‑wide Capex cycle.
  • Monitor site investment plans and ensure alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.
  • Supervise an apprentice responsible for the operational follow‑up of this area.
Your Environment
  • Position based at the corporate headquarters in Libourne, France.
  • Direct management of an apprentice.
  • Daily interaction with the VP International Manufacturing Operations, site controllers, and industrial and finance leadership teams.
  • Strong international exposure across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Your Profile
Experience
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in industrial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working within a Group structure, either in a single‑site or multi‑site organisation.
  • Experience in manufacturing industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food & beverage, or automotive is an advantage.
Key Skills
  • Strong mastery of financial cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, closing, and reporting.
  • Ability to analyse, structure, and validate complex financial data.
  • Good command of financial systems and reporting tools (experience with JD Edwards (JDE) is highly appreciated).
  • Professional‑level English is essential in this international environment.
Soft Skills
  • Agility and ability to thrive in a transforming organisation.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to challenge constructively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
