The Role
Within the Group Security Department, and more specifically the Targeting and Investigations Unit, the Data Analyst conducts technical investigations based on data analysis in the field of targeting. The role collaborates closely with data scientists and security analysts to contribute to the understanding of security-related phenomena, risk assessment, and the delivery of high value-added analytical outputs supporting operational and strategic decision‑making.
What are you going to do?
- Understand the Group’s security challenges and propose relevant, data‑driven analyses with strong operational value.
- Conduct technical investigations related to targeting, risk analysis, and threat detection.
- Design, build, and maintain databases supporting investigative activities.
- Process and analyze large volumes of data (big data environments).
- Develop clear and impactful data visualizations to support decision‑making.
- Produce concise and structured investigation reports tailored to decision‑makers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies and tools.
Who are we looking for?
- Strong skills in statistics and probability.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Experience with data processing and querying: SQL.
- Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools: Power BI.
- Experience working with big data environments.
- Experience with data visualisation tools and libraries: Python/R libraries, Qlik Sense or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of data analysis methodologies.
