BSB offers top quality management courses (accessible from A levels to Master degrees). Located in Dijon campus, the School of Wine & Spirits Business (SWSB) is a BSB’s structure dedicated to education and research in the wine and spirits sector recognized worldwide.

MISSIONS

The GREEN NUDGES Research Project Manager will support the operational coordination and contribute to the scientific development of the EU-funded projectForestAgriGreenNudge (FAGN) — GREEN NUDGEs for sustainable FORESTry and AGRIcultural practices post 2027 ”(Grant #101133987). This position combines project management duties with active involvement in research activities. Using insights from behavioral sciences, FAGN aims to guide decision-makers towards more sustainable practices in farming and forestry using “Green Nudge”—subtle, positive interventions that reshape decision‑making environments (https://greennudge.eu/ )

The successful applicant will join the Wine & Spirits Research Axis, part of the SWSB and the BSB’s CEREN Research Center (Centre de Recherche sur les Entreprises – EA 7477). In your day‑to‑day work, you will collaborate closely with colleagues involved in the FAGN project and receive supervision and guidance from the project coordinator, Prof. Nikolaos Georgantzis.

Tasks will include:

Project Management

  • Ensure the smooth implementation and timely progress of the FAGN project, in line with funding requirements, in close collaboration with academic, public, and private partners.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets; prepare progress reports and support administrative and financial reporting.
  • Actively participate in project meetings, workshops, and dissemination events, representing the FAGN research team at BSB.

Research Contribution

  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to design, test, and evaluate nudging interventions.
  • Store safely and analyse primary and secondary data obtained on nudging intervention results in the form of project deliverables and publishable research articles.
  • Search existing online sources and data bases, storing and analysing the data according to the project’s needs and deliverables.
  • Participate in the assessment of descriptive and injunctive social norm effects on behavioral change in agriculture and forestry.
  • Contribute to research activities aimed at understanding consumer and business behaviors along green value chains, and translating these insights into informational nudges for farmers and foresters.
  • Support the development of strategies and policy recommendations that foster sustainable business models in agriculture and forestry.
  • Contribute to academic publications, policy briefs, and communication materials based on research findings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have academic qualifications at the PhD level in behavioral sciences and economics, decision‑making, or a related field.
  • You have strong organizational, analytical skills. A track record of successfully leading interdisciplinary projects is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and within a group, and to take responsibility for the entire research process from ideation to data analysis, publication and presentation of results.
  • Expertise in advanced statistical analysis of primary (lab experiment and choice experiment) and secondary data.
  • A publication record aligned with the research field, including research papers in peer‑reviewed journals is a plus.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Strong drive to obtain established goals; scientifically self‑motivated and creative
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
