The internship covers design, cloning, expression in mammalian cells, dye labeling, purification, and evaluation of sensors using single-molecule FRET, under supervision in a dynamic research environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in biology, biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field.
• Curious, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Comfortable working in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and clone receptor mutants by site-directed mutagenesis.
• Express receptors in mammalian cell culture.
• Label receptors with fluorescent dyes at precise positions.
• Purify labeled receptors for in vitro measurements.
• Screen sensors by single-molecule FRET.
