Description du poste

About Current AI

Current AI is a first-of-its-kind global public-private partnership that brings together governments, foundations, and the private sector to build public interest AI at scale. Launched at the AI Action Summit in Paris in 2025, the organisation has already raised hundreds of millions through partnerships with the French government, AI Collaborative, and other leading governments, philanthropic, and industry partners.

If AI is the transformative revolution we perceive it to be, it needs to serve the public interest today and tomorrow. At Current AI, our goal is to help build a collaborative, collective, and global vision for AI, not one governed by a specific country or a company.

Today, there are builders and researchers around the world developing public interest AI building blocks (datasets, models, compute, audits and applications), but efforts are not always co-ordinated or additive. To have a genuine shot at being an alternative, we must harness the full breadth of work happening across open source and public interest AI. That means leveraging government influence and resources, philanthropic funding, and private sector expertise and scale towards building the alternative.

Role Overview

Current AI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Government Relations and Partnerships Analyst to support its government relations, multilateral partnerships, and resource mobilization functions. The Analyst will play a central role in ensuring that engagement with governments, multilateral institutions, and donors is well-researched, well-organized, and effectively tracked. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with a strong interest in international affairs, public policy, and philanthropic or donor engagement to gain hands-on exposure to high-level diplomatic and fundraising work within a small, fast-paced, and rapidly growing organization.

This is a three-months fixed-term contract.

What you’ll do

The Analyst will work across three interconnected areas of work:

Government Relations
  • Conduct research on priority countries, including political context, government structures, key stakeholders, and relevant policy developments as they relate to AI, to inform engagement strategies.
  • Support the organization and logistical coordination of missions of the Vice President of Government Affairs including scheduling, briefing materials, and coordination with government partners.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing notes, background papers, and meeting briefs ahead of CEO’s and the VP Government Affairs’ government meetings, missions, and high-level engagements.
  • Draft follow-up notes and track action items and commitments arising from government meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date country and stakeholder files to support institutional knowledge and continuity.
Global Affairs and Multilateral Partnerships
  • Conduct research on relevant international events, forums, and convenings (e.g., multilateral summits, conferences) to identify opportunities for engagement and visibility for Current AI.
  • Research potential partner organizations, including multilateral institutions, think tanks, and civil society actors, and assess alignment with organizational priorities for outreach.
  • Draft talking points, presentation slides, and briefing materials for senior leadership participation in external events.
  • Prepare correspondence, letters, and communications with partner organizations and government counterparts.
  • Support the coordination of joint initiatives or collaborative activities with partner organizations, as needed.
  • Support the organization of events or panel participation by senior leadership
Resource Mobilization
  • Conduct research to identify and profile potential donors and funding targets, including governments, foundations, private sector companies and multilateral funds.
  • Develop and maintain a dashboard tracking all potential and ongoing donor conversations, including status, next steps, and key contacts.
  • Regularly update the dashboard and provide summary reports to senior leadership on the status of fundraising pipelines.
  • Support the preparation of donor-facing materials, including concept notes, one-pagers, and correspondence.
  • Assist in tracking deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements associated with donor engagements.
  • Manage a dashboard of all fundraising targets, including tracking of all conversations.
