Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking an experienced GRC Analyst to help train and validate AI systems. You will review security policies and controls, assess alignment with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST, and provide structured feedback to improve AI governance, risk, and compliance reasoning.

The role is a fully remote hourly contract with flexible hours. You’ll work independently on your own schedule, contributing to the reliability and trustworthiness of frontier AI systems in collaboration with leading AI

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar.
• Comfortable reading, interpreting policy and audit documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication.
• Able to work independently and deliver structured feedback.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for AI training.
• Classify and assess compliance scenarios across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Evaluate risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style docs for accuracy.
• Generate and validate training data and evaluation benchmarks for AI systems.
• Provide precise written feedback to improve GRC reasoning in AI models.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures to evaluate AI-generated responses
• Classify and assess compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Evaluate risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation for accuracy and reasoning quality
• Generate and validate training data and evaluation benchmarks for AI systems
• Provide structured, precise written feedback that helps AI models improve their GRC reasoning
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
• Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading, interpreting, and reasoning through policy and audit documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
• Able to work independently and deliver high-quality structured feedback

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in security auditing, third-party risk, or information security management
• Familiarity with how AI systems are trained or evaluated
