A day in the life of a Production & Method Engineer
- Safety and Compliance: Each day begins with a focus on safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance. The Method & Production Engineer ensures site-wide and workstation-specific safety protocols are followed, including PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and hygiene standards to guarantee food quality and safety.
- Operational Excellence: Responsible for achieving production targets related to safety, quality, hygiene, environment, quantity, and deadlines. This includes monitoring asset intensity and productivity metrics (e.g., man-hours per ton, daily tonnage) and ensuring TPM milestones are met.
- TPM Deployment and Operator Autonomy: Deploy TPM tools and foster operator autonomy in using them. Build and maintain the TPM roadmap, and support operators in mastering these tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving: Co-lead the continuous improvement roadmap, align factory goals with local pillar and committee objectives. Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Six Sigma) and lead improvement projects in quality, hygiene, and process efficiency.
- Operational Leadership and Coaching: Lead and coach operational meetings, ensure data accuracy, and track performance indicators. Act as a backup to the area manager, reinforcing leadership presence on the floor.
- Expertise and Collaboration: Background in food or technical engineering with experience in team management. Expertise in TPM, coaching, auditing, and change management. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal and leadership skills to support cross-team collaboration.

- You have excellent communication skills and can work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
- You are willing to interact with people at all levels, from shopfloor to European Management team.
- Team spirit, international mobility, and open-mindedness are highly appreciated.
- Fluent English, plus another European language is preferable.
