Estée Lauder Companies’ Kilian Paris & Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle seeking a Global SD & VM Operations Manager to lead VM indirect procurement, project management, and creative oversight. Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in retail design for luxury brands as an in-house project manager.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to expand knowledge and expertise.
  • Experience developing and negotiating project scopes and budgets with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple teams and projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Responsabilités

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop realistic budgets and timelines, providing regular project updates.
  • Liaise with various departments to establish project specifications and schedules.
  • Monitor project risks, elevate issues when necessary, and manage out-of-scope requests.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Develop forecasting bulletins (for permanent and launch materials) and verify forecast accuracy with regions and markets.
  • Track and deliver VM and retail materials, managing production schedules and warehouse deliveries.
  • Monitor project budgets and production activities, communicating status updates and issues to relevant teams.
  • VM Collateral Production (Indirect Procurement): Scout and negotiate with suitable suppliers based on project requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of design, assembly materials, and production techniques.
  • Established network of suppliers, shopfitters, artisans, artists, and related partners.
  • Produce VM tools, window displays, mock-ups, and related materials.
  • Establish production timelines and maintain budget control in collaboration with external partners.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of all creative materials.
  • Financial and Administrative Management: Monitor internal and external project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of the SD & VM department.
  • Create purchase orders and track actual versus budgeted vendor costs.
  • Generate monthly budget reports for finance teams and maintain project documentation.

POSITION SUMMARY

Within the Store Design & VM department for Kilian Paris & Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, we are looking for a Global SD & VM Operations Manager with a comprehensive skill set in VM indirect procurement, project management, creative oversight, financial control, and administrative coordination.

This role involves managing and directing retail projects within our creative department, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while adhering to budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing VM collateral, planning, coordinating, and executing projects across various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all projects align with the company's goals and objectives.
