Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking a Spacecraft Program Manager to lead complex satellite programs from concept through post-launch. You will oversee contractual, financial, performance and quality aspects, interfacing with the programme directorate and with contractors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires significant senior experience in spacecraft programs, strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and a track record of delivering on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in the spacecraft industry with leadership experience.
• Experience decomposing system requirements and trade studies for spacecraft.
• Familiarity with full space program lifecycle from bid to delivery.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage interfaces with directors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage satellite procurement contracts for design, development, and production.
• Ensure deliverables meet contract baselines and milestone dates.
• Manage launcher contracts for compatibility and performance within budgets.
• Define and manage engineering and quality support activities for the program.
• Oversee post-launch management and satellite contracts.
• Provide technical support to insurance and risk management processes.
• Contribute to pre-contract proposals, bid evaluations and contract finalisation.
• Control technical activities and project resources; support engineering hiring.
• Support proposal writing for future business.
